How to read Indian Polity by M.Laxmikanth?


Do not read the book in linear fashion starting from chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5..and so on.

Follow, this sequence to complete Laxmikanth book (5th Edition)

You should try to pick chapters that have similar content and are related to each other

Suggestion: Don’t read Laxmikanth before completing NCERT’s of Polity.

Before starting to read the book have a glance at Appendix 1, which is at the end of chapters. It contains all the articles of the Indian Constitution. Make sure to connect those Articles while reading the chapters related to them.

Note: 

 1) You need to add-on Current Affairs to the list, for example, Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act-2019, which has done some changes to the constitution so be attentive while reading. (Article 35A, Article 370 & some added on to Article 239, 1st Schedule, 4th Schedule etc…)

 2)Don't forget to read Appendices

 3)Don't read in hurry make sure to understand the topic properly
